About me
Hi! I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Biostatistics Department of the University of Michigan, working with Dr. Irina Gaynanova.
I’m interested in developing interpretable methods for geometrically structured, non-Euclidean data encountered in practice. My recent research focuses on distributional data analysis and its applications to wearable device data, such as continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) measurements. I also work on high-dimensional compositional data analysis where I have developed interpretable dimension reduction methods for microbiome data during my Ph.D. studies.
I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences under the guidance of Professors Cheolwoo Park and Jeongyoun Ahn at KAIST. Before working on statistics, I conducted research in algebraic geometry under the supervision of Professor Sijong Kwak until the summer of 2021.
I enjoy coffee
